This ink painting (Sumi-e) is created on Shikishi Board. A beautiful way to present ink work. This sumi (ink) piece is in a modern minimal style made popular by Japanese artists. This is my favorite style of sumi-e. I use this style quite often in my work.
This work was inspired by the coming of Spring. My favorite season.
The red artist seal or chop translates to say "Casey Shannon Studio".
This delightful art will grace the walls of any home or office. For information on the original work please visit my website. caseyshannon.com
